As a business valuation consultant and expert, Mr. Kulik has conducted and supervised appraisals that have been used by clients for estate and gift tax matters, to purchase and sell companies, establish stock ownership and option plans, negotiate shareholder buyouts, create preferred stocks and debt securities and to assist in determining the fairness of corporate acquisitions and tender offers. Marilyn Kulik is an educator, researcher, and consultant in the area of entrepreneurial leadership. Dr. Kulik's doctoral research on women business owners has been quoted in U.S. News & Work Report, USA Today and Venture magazine. She is also senior author of The Avon Report on Successful Women Entrepreneuers, which is based on a national study commissioned by Avon Products. As a senior researcher at a Princeton-area opinion research firm, Dr. Kulik helped design and conduct national opinion surveys and market research studies commissioned by Fortune 500 companies. Dr. Kulik has taught courses in the behavioral sciences at Berkeley College and Rutgers University, including group dynamics and leadership, globalization and sustainable business, intercultural communication and anthropology. |
